Madison Dunlap competes for the Jackson College Jets in cross-country. She graduated from Napoleon as a top contributor in distance events. After transferring from Stockbridge, Madison brought her talents and hard work to Napoleon for her final 2 years of competition.

Madison Dean, Class of 2016
Madison graduated from Napoleon as 2x state qualifier for the Lady Pirates. Madison qualifed for the state meet in the 3200 relay her junior year and in the open 3200 her senior year. Her senior year she received the Coach's Award as a top leader and contributor on the team. Her hard work allowed the Lady Pirates to experience many victories and multiple conference and regional championships. Madison attends Saginaw Valley State University and runs for the Lady Cardinals.

McKenzie Smoyer, Class of 2016
McKenzie Smoyer graduated from Napoleon as a 4x state qualifier and 5x MVP for Napoleon (1x Track, 4x Cross-Country). As a leader of the distance girls for 4 years McKenzie logged numerous miles for the Lady Pirates. From the 400m to 3200m McKenzie showed her ability and determination to help the team score in close meets. As a top distance runner she qualified 4x's for MHSAA state meet (3x 4x800, 1x 800). McKenzie also was a key contributor to the 2015-2016 20-0 Lady Pirate Basketball team coached by her father, Steve Smoyer. McKenzie attends Saginaw Valley State University and competes for the Cardinals in track and cross-country.
Connor Silvestri, Class of 2016
Connor Silvestri graduted from Napoleon in 2016. As a member of the cross-country and track team, Connor contributed to numerous victories. His leadership and hard work was a great asset for the Pirates. Connor attends Lansing Community College and runs cross-country for the Stars.
Billy Dowd, Class of 2016
Billy Dowd competes in cross-country for Jackson College. He has been a varsity member of the Napoleon Track & Cross-Country programs for 4 years. Billy finished his senior hear as the MVP in cross-country. His team qualified for the state meet twice. His personal best in the 5k is 17:20.
Kaniya Weatherspoon, Class of 2015
Kaniya Weatherspoon left Napoleon Community Schools as the most decorated athlete in school history. She had an amazing track and field career. Kaniya is currently the school record holder in 6 events. She was the Selby Invite Athlete of the Year in 2014 & 2015. She was been named All-State 11x's. She was the MHSAA state champion in long jump in 2014 and the MITCA state champion in long jump and the 400. In her career she won 16 Conference Championships. She is attending Western Michigan University and competing in track & field for the Broncos.

While at Napoleon she was a member of the 2013-2014 Cascades Conference Champion Cross-Country team and the 2012-2015 Cascades Conference and Regional Champion Track & Field team.
Paige Harcourt, Class of 2015
Paige Harcourt is attending and competing for Olivet College in field hockey. Paige was an excellent hurdler and high jumper for the Napoleon Lady Pirates. She earned numerous All-Conference and All-Region honors in her events. She was a member of the 2012-2015 Cascades Conference Champion and Regional Champion Lady Pirate Track & Field Team. She also was a member of the 2014 Cascades Conference Champion Lady Pirate Cross-Country Team.

Ryan Silvestri is currently attending and competing for the Saginaw Valley State Cardinals in track & cross-country. Ryan was a member the the state champion MITS 4x800 team in the 4x800. He finished All-State in the 800 in 2015 at the MHSAA Finals. He has qualifed for the MHSAA Cross-Country state meet numerous times. He was been Cascades Conference champion in the 800 in 2014.
Tessa Staggemeier, Class of 2015
Tessa signed to compete with the Jackson College Jets in cross-country. She graduated from Napoleon with numerous honors in cross-country, basketball, and track. Tessa was a state qualifier and track in the 4x800. She was a member of the Conference Championship Track and Cross-Country Teams.
While at Jackson College, Tessa has been a top contributor for the cross-country and basketball teams.

Ian competes in football and track & field for Trine University. Ian graduated from Napoleon after a very successful track & field career. He was named all-conference and all-region numerous times in the 100 and 200. He was Cascades Conference Champion in the 100 in 2014.

Cassidy Reid, Class of 2014, Sierra College, California
Cassidy Reid competes in volleyball for Sierra College in Rocklin, California.
Cassidy Reid graduated from Napoleon after being named "All-State" 4x's for the Lady Pirates. Cassidy was the lead leg for numerous sprint relays named All-Conference, All-Region, and All-State. She is a member of the school record 4x100 team.

She was named All-State all 4 years of her career and totaled 10 All-State medals. Hannah graduated as the school record holder in 4 different events (300 hurdles, 4x100, 4x200, 4x400). She finished 2nd in the 300 hurdles in the state in 2014. She is the only athlete in school history to be named All-State in all 4 relay events. Hannah graduated as a 4x MVP with 13 Cascades Conference Championship Titles.

Tyler Kryst, Class of 2014
Tyler Kryst competed in football and track & field for the Adrian College Bulldogs during his freshman season. Tyler was the top high hurdler for the Napoleon Pirates during his high school career. He was named all-conference and all-region many times in his career. While at Adrian, Tyler developed into a top hurdler for the Bulldogs.

Odette Ingall, Class of 2013, Oakland University
After a successful high school career, Odette Ingall comitted to compete for the Oakland Grizzlies Track & Field Team. Odette will be focusing on the 400. Odette will be enrolling in the fall and majoring in medical field. Odette finished her high school career with a personal best of 61.34 in the 400. She was an all-conference runner 4x's and named achieved all-regional status 5x's. She qualified for the state meet 3x's in the 4x400. She finished an excellent career as a member of the school record and "all-state" 4x400 relay team.

Rachel Benedict, Class of 2013, Siena Heights University
Rachel will be competing for the Siena Heights University Track & Field team as a collegiate athlete. Rachel will be competing in throws competition for the Lady Saints. Rachel has had an outstanding career in discus for the Napoleon Pirates. She is a 2x All-Conference and All-Region discus thrower. She currently has a career long of 102'11. She has been the leader of the Lady Pirate throwers for the past 2 seasons and has set very high goals for her senior season. Her hard work has allowed her to win many competitions and improve as a thrower. She will graduate as a four-year varsity letter winner.
Morgan Berry, Class of 2012, The University of Dayton & Lake Erie College
Morgan finished her basketball career at Napoleon High School as the leading career scorer for the Lady Pirates. Morgan also set individual records for most points in a game, was named Jackson Citizen Patriot Player and the Year, and was named first-team All-State. She will begin competing in basketball for the Dayton Flyers in 2012.
Morgan competed in high jump for the Lady Pirate's track team. As a junior she set a personal best clearing 5'0' twice in competition. During her senior season Morgan cleared 5'0 in every meet she attempted it. She won regionals and the conference meet in 2012. She currently holds the school record at 5'5". Morgan earned All-State honors in track & field her senior year.

During the 2014-2015 season Morgan transferred to Lake Erie College and is a member of the Lady Storm basketball team.
Jordan Simon, Class of 2012, Adrian College
Jordan finished his senior year as a 3-time All-State athlete in discus. His personal best in discus is 158'7" which he threw at the MHSAA D3 State Meet finishing 2nd. His personal best in the shot put is 48'.5". Jordan has been the team's leader in throws for the Napoleon Pirates. In the Cascades Conference, Jordan has been named All-Conference four times and has been a member of the 2010 and 2011 Cascades Conference Champion teams at Napoleon.
During his wrestling and football career, Jordan led the offensive and defensive line for the Napoleon Pirates. Jordan was named team MVP during his senior season and achieved All-Conference status. In wrestling he received All-State honors finishing 4th in the heavyweight division in 2011.

Paige Albert, Class of 2012, Spring Arbor University
Paige competed on the state-qualifying 4x800 all 4 years of her varsity career and qualified for the state meet in the 800 in 2012. Her personal best in the 800 is 2:25.83. Paige is a 2-time All-State athlete and member of the record-setting 4x800 team. She also was named Academic All-State during her sophomore and junior years. In cross-country she was team MVP in 2011 and set a personal best with a 20:04 at the MSU Playmakers Invitational. Academically Paige excelled as a valedictorian of the Class of 2012 at Napoleon Community Schools.
Paige competed for Spring Arbor University in cross-country and track. In her freshman season she qualified for nationals with in the NCCAA and NAIA with her 4x800 relay team. Congratulations Paige!

Lelund Weatherspoon, Class of 2012, Iowa State University
For the second year in a row Lelund was the MHSAA State Champion in wrestling. Lelund competed as a sprinter on the men's track team and was a main contributor to 2 conference championships. This fall, he was named as an All-Conference running back and team MVP in football. In track, Lelund leads the team in sprints and long jump. He PR's include 11.54 in the 100, 23.84 in the 200, 53.88 in the 400, 20'4" in long jump, and 41".25" in shot put.

*Emily Haynes, Class of 2012, Ferris State University
Emily competed on the state-qualifying 4x800 all 4 years of her varsity career and qualified for the state meet in the 1600 in 2012. Her personal best in the 800 is 2:30.7, in the mile is 5:24.2, and in the 3200 is 12:19.5. Emily is a 2-time All-State athlete and member of the school record-setting 4x800 team. She also was named Academic All-State during her sophomore and junior years and graduated in the top 10 of her class.
In cross-country she was team MVP in 2010 and set a personal best with a 20:06 at the MHSAA Regionals.
As a freshman at Jackson Community College, Emily has been the #1 runner for the Lady Jets and currently has a PR of 19:21.30. Emily led her team at the National JCA meet finishing 43rd overall with her team finishing 16th in the nation. Emily was named All-Region XII, All-MCCAA, and to the Women's All-Freshman team!

Blake Garver, Class of 2011, Ferris State University
Blake completed his 4 years at Napoleon High School as the MVP of the 2011 Boy's Cascades Conference Champion Pirates. Blake led his team to numerous victories and won numerous individual and relay Cascades Conference events during his tenure. He currently holds the record of 4:26 in the 1600. Blake ended his career as an All-State athlete in the 1600 at the 2011 MHSAA D3 Finals. He graduated as one of the most-decorated male track and cross-country athletes in school history. In cross-country, Blake was a All-State runner during the 2009 and 2010 seasons.
Blake currently competes for the Ferris State Bulldogs on the cross-country, indoor track, and outdoor track teams. To his credit, he has already ran an impressive 27:08 8k in his freshman year and 26:20 8k in his sophomore year of cross-country. During indoor track Blake ran an outstanding 3:57 1500 and 4:22 mile. During outdoor track Blake has already run an impressive 1:57 800 meters.

Jordan Hofer, Class of 2010, Indiana Wesleyan University
Jordan completed her 4 years at Napoleon High School as a 2-time MVP for the Lady Pirates. Jordan finished an outstanding high school career as a mid-distance runner by leading the women's 4x800 team to a 6th place finish in the 2010 MHSAA D3 Finals in a school record 10:02.92. Jordan received All-State honors along with her teammates Katrina DeMay, Emily Haynes, and Paige Albert. Jordan also received Academic All-State Honors and was Salutatorian of the Class of 2010.
Currently Jordan competes in mid-distance events including the 800 and 4x800 relay for Indiana Wesleyan University During her freshman year she competed on the cross-country, indoor track, and outdoor track teams.
